Paysera Bulgaria plans to use the funds raised through the beam market to meet capital requirements for licensing by the local regulator, develop core payment services, and launch a real estate crowdfunding platform.

Paysera Bulgaria has been providing innovative digital payment services to individuals and businesses for 8 years. As business in Europe becomes increasingly digital and cross-border, the need for adequate and modern banking is greater than ever. The banking sector is also undergoing a transformation, aiming for more efficient and digitized solutions.

Paysera represents the future of banking in the digital era: no offices, no paper, entirely digital, remote, mobile, and cross-border. In 2019, Paysera Bulgaria established a subsidiary in Romania, owning 95% of its capital. The entities in Bulgaria and Romania operate under the Lithuanian license.

In 2023, customers in Bulgaria and Romania conducted transactions through the platform amounting to:

Transfers totaling 753.5 million euros
Currency exchange totaling 356 million euros
Holding funds in payment accounts amounting to 38.1 million euros as of 31.12.

The funds raised from the offering will be used for the following purposes: preparation for a local electronic money institution license and meeting capital regulatory requirements, development of core payment services, and establishment of a crowdfunding company focused on mortgage lending.
