The Bulgarian organic food producer and distributor Smart Organic is the first company that on May 23, 2024 made a successful transition from the beam growth market to the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.

Smart Organic was founded in 2009. Today it is one of the leading producers and distributors of organic food in Europe.

The company’s main products are organic energy and protein bars and cookies, superfoods, plant-based proteins, salty snacks and basic foods.

The company’s goal is to make healthy food delicious and affordable.

Smart Organic today:

More than EUR 30 million in sales
Exports in over 60 countries worldwide
Direct delivery of raw materials from more than 30 countries around the globe
Presence in some of the biggest food retail chains in Europe
Strong focus on R&D and innovation (the leading product, Roobar, is awarded in Europe, Asia and America)

The majority of the products are manufactured in Smart Organic’s own factory in Sofia, which spreads over more than 6000 sq.m. The production process is certified organic as well as certified according to the highest international standards for food safety and product and production process quality.

Between 50 and 75% of the production needs are covered by Smart Organic’s own 180KW-solar park.

A second production factory and a 300KW-solar park are expected to be completed by July, 2022.
